The seventeenth edition of « Orchidays » organized by « Le Club des Orchidophiles Wallons a.s.b.l. » in partnership with the Province of Hainaut and the ASBL Voies d’Eau du Hainaut, will take place at the Sloping Lock of Ronquières. It will run from May 21st to May 24th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This impressive structure will open its doors to magic and multicoloured flowers : orchids. The tour “One boat, one life” and many other scenes put in place by COW’s members will be used to emphasize these jewels.

About 15 orchid producers from Brazil, Ecuador, Taiwan, Madagascar… and Europe as well as several orchid societies will display the finest species and hybrids from their collection.

Craftsmen will show and sell their latest orchid-related creations.

Orchid experts and enthusiasts will be at your disposal to give advice and tips on how to grow and take care of orchids.

Talks about orchid care and repotting demo’s will be organized free of charge.

Drinks, snacks and cold dishes will be available at the bar, option to buy plants, books and orchid accessories.

The intrance fee to the orchid show is 7 € for adults, 6 € for seniors (> 60 years), children (<18 years) and groups (>20 people). The access is free for children under 12.
