Every two years « Le Club des Orchidophiles Wallons a.s.b.l. » organizes an international orchid exhibition with thousands of visitors.
These orchid days called « Orchidays » are an opportunity to discover the fascinating world of orchids.
About fifteen internationally renowned growers show their most wonderful botanical and hybrid orchids.
Many Belgian orchid associations also take part in this show by exhibiting rare plants from private collections.
Original creations on the theme of orchids are proposed by well known craftsmen.
Many sites such as the Grounds of Enghien Castle, the Seneffe Castle Estate, the Distillery of Biercée, the Strépy-Thieu Funicular Lift, the Sloping Lock of Ronquières, the Farm of the Hostellerie in Nivelles and the Kursaal of Binche hosted « Orchidays » in the past. Our next edition will take place at the Sloping Lock of Ronquières once again. Its « A boat, a life » tour as well as the many scenes put in place by COW will be decorated and flowered with thousands of mysterious and colourful orchids.
